Tasks and the board
Create Repliqo tasks, organize them on the workspace board, assign owners, set due dates, and link conversations.
Tasks hold work that should outlive a single email reply. They have their own title, description, workflow status, priority, due date, assignees, labels, comments, followers, attachments, and activity history.
Path: Board
Create a task
- Open Board and select Create task, or create a related task from a conversation.
- Enter a clear title.
- Optionally set the status, high or urgent priority, due date, assignees, and related conversation.
- Create the task.
When a task starts from a conversation, Repliqo keeps a reference to the thread instead of copying or mutating the email.
Work from the board
- Drag a task between workflow-status columns to change its status.
- Open a task to edit its description and properties.
- Add multiple assignees, shared task labels, comments, followers, attachments, and conversation references.
- Open a referenced conversation alongside the task when you need email context.
- Archive completed or obsolete tasks without deleting their history.
Filter the board
Use task search plus assignee, label, priority, due-soon, overdue, and archived filters to narrow the board. Filters affect the current view; they do not change the tasks.
Connect tasks and conversations
Add a conversation reference from the task description or task details. Only conversations you can access appear in the picker. If your access to a referenced inbox is removed, the reference no longer exposes that email content.
Tasks do not automatically change the status, labels, or assignees of a referenced conversation. Use automations when a deliberate cross-workflow action is needed.
Success looks like
- Every task has a concrete outcome and a useful workflow status.
- Time-sensitive tasks have a due date and owner.
- Email context is linked rather than duplicated into the description.
- Archived tasks leave the active board while retaining their history.
Common problems
- A conversation is missing from the picker: you do not have access to its inbox, or it does not match the current search.
- A task does not appear: clear board filters and check Archived.
- A label is unavailable: an owner or admin must create it under Settings → Rules → Task labels.
